Founding of the agricultural machinery production facility

Hans and Stefanie Prillinger are the founding fathers of the agricultural machinery production FELDHERR .

Start of the wholesale of spare parts

Start of the wholesale of spare parts (mainly parts for ploughs) in addition to the production of agricultural machinery. The production of agricultural machinery for soil preparation and seeding under the FELDHERR brand remains however, the most important business sector (multiplex equipment, precision seed drills, harrow-cultivator combinations, grain sowers, augers).

Expansion of the facility

Ongoing expansion of the warehouse and production areas through the construction of a total of 3 halls with a total area of 5,750 m². (see large image above)

Succession

The two sons Karl Prillinger and Erwin Prillinger take over the company.

Division

Dividing the company into two operations:
• PRILLINGER spare parts wholesale led by Karl Prillinger
• FELDHERR equipment engineering led by Dipl.-ing. Erwin Prillinger

Warehouse extension

Extension of existing warehouse space by building an additional hall with approximately 1,000 m².

Merger

Merger of the two companies PRILLINGER and FELDHERR by Karl Prillinger (pictured with his wife Aloisia Prillinger). The agricultural machinery production is converted to a spare parts production. The range of spare parts is continuously expanded and includes at this point 22,000 parts.

Czech Republic

Expansion into the Czech Republic and founding of a subsidiary company in the Czech Republic.

Hungary

Expansion into Hungary and founding of a subsidiary company in Hungary.

Slovenia & warehouse expansion

Expansion into Slovenia and founding of a subsidiary company in Slovenia. Through the ongoing expansion and continuous growth additional storage areas are required, therefore a further warehouse is built in Wels with 1,700 m².

Slovakia and warehouse investment

Expansion into Slovakia and founding of a subsidiary company in Slovakia. The efficiency of the central warehouse in Wels is increased by the installation of an automatic small parts warehouse.

Warehouse expansion

Extension of warehouse space in Wels by building an additional hall with approximately 3,000 m².

Germany & Switzerland

Beginning of the market development in Germany and in Switzerland. Prillinger is able to expand quickly in these markets based on service orientation, coupled with the reliability offered by the Austrian family business.

Space expansion

Construction of an additional 2,500 m² warehouse and increase the storage capacity now to 15,500 m² with 90,000 storage places. And in doing so creating even more spare parts availability.

Succession

The succession of the operation by Karl Prillinger to daughter Anna Maria Edlbauer and son-in-law Franz Edlbauer, who are now the executive management.

High-tech logistics

Expansion of storage capacity and automatic small parts warehouse at Wels. The products on hand will well exceed over 45,000 parts on a constant basis.

Warehouse expansion

Construction of an additional 2,500 m² warehouse and increase the storage capacity now to 15,500 m² with 90.000 storage places. And in doing so creating even more spare parts availability.

Expansion of the packaging area

The packaging zone is expanded to cope with the increasing amount of shipping.

Extension to the dispatch building and more office space

Increasing shipping volumes have led to the need for an extension to the dispatch building. At the same time new office space will be created to meet the growing needs of additional staff.

Warehouse expansion

Construction of an additional warehouse with an usable area of 7,500 m2 to create conditions for further expansion of the range.

Photovoltaics

Setup of a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 200 kWp to cover the electricity needed during the day.

Updated company access road & address

PRILLINGER is now directly accessable via the motorway exit “Wels-Wirtschaftspark”. The new address is “Prillingerstrasse 1”.

Warehouse expansion

Construction of an additional warehouse with a usable area of 10,000 m2 for even more availability of spare parts.
